It has been primarily manufactured to provide a connection from your ridge to your hips on your Britmet LiteSlate roof.

They also carry all the characteristics and features you come to expect from traditional slate tiles.

It offers an authentic finish with riven edges, impeccable durability and is available in Charcoal, Oak, Slate, Sunset, Sunshine, Amethyst and Ash.

Whilst going through the design process, a real welsh slate was used in order to perfect the overall look and performance qualities.

However, a synthetic slate roofing tile like won’t crack, break, chip or delaminate due to its ground-breaking design and cutting-edge manufacturing process.

This synthetic slate tile has been designed and manufactured with the environment at the forefront.

Over 90% of the polymers used to manufacture this product are recycled.

In 2021, Britmet recycled over three million kilograms of polypropylene during the manufacturing process.

This product has passed its fire testing with a BS476-3 Fire Rating and is compression moulded, meaning it has detailed impressions, showing where to fix the slate.

This make it even easier for DIY installation and is also easy to cut as you only require a sharp, fine-tooth saw or sharp blade.
