The Dakea Anti-Heat Blind (also known as an Awning Blind) sits on the outside of your roof window, unlike the Blackout and Venetian Blinds.

It is made from PVC-coated fibreglass fabric and is highly effective for reducing the build up of heat in rooms with a roof window.

The material is rot proof and dirt resistant and fits discreetly inside the hood of the roof window, protecting the blind when not in use.

It has also been designed to let soft light in and you are still able to open your roof window if the blind is in use.

As with all Dakea blinds, the anti-heat blind is easy to install and only takes 5 minutes. This blind is available in black only.

You are also able to operate the awning blind from the inside and is externally fixed to the top of the roof window.

It is 2cm wider than the roof window pane and as a result, offers protection when your roof window is open.

Each Dakea Blind is supplied with a 2 year guarantee.

These blinds have been designed to cover the longest roof window associated to its width.

For example, an MXA blind will fit to roof window sizes 78 x 98 cm, 78 x 118 cm, 78 x 140 cm, 78 x 160 cm.
