Metrotile Aquapan Lightweight Roof Tile Ridge

The Metrotile Aquapan offers a unique take on lightweight roof tiles by offering the appearance of multiple tiles on one sheet.

This particular ridge has been designed to finish off any Aquapan roof that requires it.

Manufactured with lightweight high grade steel with Aluzinc ® , it offers incredible strength and weather protection.

They are ideal for chalets, play houses, toolsheds, garden offices, summerhouses, stables, annexes, animal shelters, pool houses, garages and workshops.

Installation is quick and easy as there is no need to cut and all you require is the sheet, barge board, ridge, ridge end cap and fixings.

Each component is designed to overlap and be screw-fixed together and should always be installed on a sturdy nailable base, tile battens or purlins.

Battens need to be set out at 155mm from front of batten to front of battens.

In the instance of refurbishment, an existing roof covering such as bitumen sheets or shingle tiles, will not need to be removed as it can serve as an underlay.

Each Aquapan sheet has 35 tiles; 5 tiles in the width and 7 tiles in the depth.

Simply work out the number of sheets you need to cover your roof are (790mm Cover Width When Overlapped, 890 mm Width and 1123mm Depth).

You do not need to cut the Aquapan sheets as they can be overlapped by using a full tile shape both in width and depth.

The Ridge is 900mm in length and is 170mm either side of the middle.

The Aquapan sheets are available in a charcoal colour and expected to last in excess of 20 years.
