VELUX Underfelt Collar
The VELUX Underfelt Collar is a pleated material that is beneficial for reducing installation time.
This is because it ensures a fast connection between the roof window and the roofing felt/membrane.
It also helps protect against drafts and wind driven rain and snow around the window installation.
It is supplied in one piece for easy installation around the windows, corners and frames and will help with maintaining your property.
It is also beneficial for minimising risk of condensation on the roof window, thanks to its breathable material.
A transverse drainage gutter is also supplied, which prevents any water ingress around the roof opening caused by missing or broken slates or tiles above the window.
The BFX collar is available to suit all standard roof window sizes and can also be used in roof pitches between 15-90º.
