The new VELUX PRO+ EDN Recessed Slate Flashing comprises of a flashing kit, insulation collar and underfelt collar, allowing for the most complete installation.

This flashing kit is used for the installation of VELUX roof windows into slates with a profile thickness of up to 8 mm.

Flashing kits are imperative for roof window installation as they act as a weathertight seal around your window, ensuring you don’t experience leaks.

Recessed flashings are beneficial when the end user prefers their roof window to have less protrusion.

The VELUX Insulation Collar is a beneficial product for reducing heat loss as it eliminates thermal bridges between the roof window and roof structure.

This particular product has click fittings which contributes to an easy and accurate installation.

The BFX Underfelt Collar also offers a quicker installation as it is made to go round the edge of your roof window.

It is made out of diffusion open material that minimises the risk of condensation on your roof window.

The transverse gutter leads water away from the head of the roof window if a tile or slate is broken above the window.
